Whilst my time is limited, there were nonetheless several relief printmaking related art exhibitions that I was hoping to visit in the coming months and review here. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic all exhibitions have been suspended, and travel has been restricted to only essential travel - and we are self isolating at home for the long term, and not leaving the house.
I was hoping in particular go to to visit in particular the Society of Wood Engravers 'Scene Through Wood : A Century of Modern Wood Engraving' for their 100th anniversary and the V&A's 'Making an Impression: The Art of Relief Printmaking' but unfortunately I won't be able to. There was an Edward Bawden exhibition somewhere too which would have been interesting, but may not have had time to visit it anyway.
