Inspiration

I made an end grain block that I knew had a crack in it (timber was from near end of board), so I devised an abstract shape around this crack that I hoped was interesting, then subdivided it with gentle curve shapes.

Printing

I tried some Hawthorn Letterpress Extra Dense Black ink here, which I like as it is noticeably denser than my Lawrence Letterpress ink - except that it doesn't print so well on my paper - I need to try some other papers, and perhaps damping the paper a little (which I don't generally like to do).
