We weren't expecting frost in mid May, and it has damaged some of our potatoes.

Since the start of this pandemic we have been growing some of our own vegetables - I've sown 43 potatoes so far (which was a lot of hard work digging) and they were all growing really well - until last night and we had a frost. We had been warned about it, but so many things happening in life and it got ignored, and today we pay the price - many of the larger heads that had grown have been quite badly damaged by the frost. I do hope they recover - they should - they have only just started growing and a long way to go, but am concerned that it will reduce their yield. Will have to see.
