We are self isolating for the duration of the pandemic, as a family, with a 6 and 9 year old.
I don't know how many times we've said this over the years to the children, but with the best will in the world, don't leave things on the floor, they'll get stood on.
We're a bit squashed in here - all sitting around a table at the moment trying to get school work and adult work done, and this takes up more space now, and there is less space to play. The children still need to play but need their own space, which they need to stick to. We've got to work out a new way of working here at home, but we'll do it.
We just have to remember - don't leave things on the floor, they'll get stood on.
